I work with all ages and levels of experience – from workshops with ten-year-olds playing with sound and technology, to masterclasses, directorial support and editing with established writers and theatre makers.
I offer one-to-one editing/mentoring sessions on poetry for The Poetry Society – contact Paul McGrane pmcgrane@poetrysocietydotorgdotuk to register interest if there’s nothing currently available…
Sound Like YourselfHow do we weave our poems from the air? How do we keep even the hundredth performance fresh? How do we avoid getting stuck in one persona, one tune, one cul-de-sac of delivery? How do we ensure that we mean what we say and we sound like ourselves? This session introduces a variety of techniques to help poets keep their words alive in the moment, and find the antidote to autopilot.
